Volunteering with Age Concern Kingston Upon Thames

We offer a range of stimulating and interesting volunteer opportunities.

Over 100 people support Age Concern Kingston by giving their time and skills. We could not provide our services without their invaluable help.

People of all ages choose to volunteer with Age Concern. Volunteering can be a way of maintaining skills post retirement, or learning new skills whilst making a positive contribution to the community.  It is often fun and companiable and always worthwhile.

In November 2006, 97% of respondents who participated in our first postal Volunteer Satisfaction Survey declared themselves either ‘satisfied' or ‘very satisfied' with their volunteering experience. Participants said that volunteering gave them opportunities to meet people, use their skills and give service to others in a rewarding way.
